..the non-S, side markers, not the Shark ones, just the basic chromed version?

I had a few sets in a while back and shipped them back because of poor quality. It looked like they took stock Cooper sides and chrome plated them without sanding which resulted in a textured/wrinkly finish.

I am just wondering if they have fixed this or if they are still selling the same version??

Anyone have experience with these?

I bought the chrome side vents in 9/2002, the finish on mine are as you described but I kept them anyway because they look better than the OEM black plastic. Now after having them for over a year I don't notice the bumpy finish and the "chrome" looks a lot better than the black.
