Okay, so I have a 2012 Countryman S on order. CS/CS and I am wanting to put a Flat/Matte Black 2 Stripe Viper kit on it. I want to go over the roof with it even though it will have a sunroof (no the stripes will not run over the sunroof section). My wife thinks it will look better with the stripes just on the boot and bonnet.
Any suggestions and if you've done either way can you include a picture?

First off congrats! The waiting is hard...

I had two MINIs now with stripes on the roof, and they've both gone right across the glass of the sunroof. I personally like the look. In the end it needs to be something you're happy with!

I striped a black Countryman with the OEM Red Stripes and ran them on the roof even though it had a sunroof option....

Used the extra left over to stripe the rear wing.....THAT looked freakin hot done that way.

DO THE ROOF and the rear wing !

 

Additionally you have to remember, the Countryman's roof is a bit higher so you really don't have the angle to see the sun roof from the sides.

The stripes are basically noticible from the front and back only and that is where the
stripes will be.
