I made myself a retractable roll-up opaque shade that stays in there permanently yet disappears when not in use and lets you use the mesh shade as normal and does not interfere with opening/closing the sunroof...I just need to find a manufacturer to bring it to market

 

I have light sensitive eyes and the sun usually bothers me, but we wanted a sunroof for the open feeling and to open the car up when the weather is good. The sunroof has the dark tint already but at times it just wasn't enough so we bought from the dealer the white opaque covering that fits over the sunroof. Now we have an almost totally white roof, but it blocks the sun coming down. Of course when we can we open the sunroof. Doesn't happen often much here in 'sunny' (hot) FL.
