Where to buy OEM "extras" (side mirror caps)

Hi all
I'm looking to get checkered side mirror caps to replace my boring ole black ones (already have the rear view mirror cap). Anyone know where the best place to get these would be? I know my local MINI dealer has them ($97 a pop), also saw them on outmotoring ($93 a pop), and Motoringfile.com has an add for Morristown MINI offering 20% off all parts/accessories (makes them $88 a pop).

Already checked ebay, not a whole lot. Amazon only has Gen1 stuff, I have an '11 Clubby.

For OEM parts, I think Morristown is about as good as it gets. I've always been happy with the prices and customer service.

Mirror covers

I just order a set of checkered caps from Moss motor, but changed my mind. Below is their link.

If you do change your caps , I am interestedin buying your black ones in that mine are Chrome. There is also a DIY link on how to change caps. Let me know if your black ones become available or if you are interested in Chrome caps we could do a swap.

Classic MINI is another dealer that offers discounts: https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/classicauto

There isn't much variation in prices for new OEM parts, because ultimately all OEM parts are sourced from MINIUSA. Vendor and dealer prices are based on their wholesale price from MINIUSA. You'll have to look for aftermarket parts if you want something significantly cheaper.

I bought mine from my local mini dealer yesterday, they were running a 40% off sale. I could not resist. Real easy to remove the old ones, I used plastic pumpkin scraping paddle, ya know the kind you use to clean the inside of a pumpkin. Took all of 5 minutes to take old white ones off and put new checks on. Looks awesome, and wife likes them as well since they match my checkerboard Vans... Yep I live in 80's........
