Will someone measure their sport stripes for me?
Hi all-
Recently got my first MINI- a 2011 Cooper. Loving the car. I attached a picture to this thread since everyone loves pictures!
The dealer was supposed to have the sport stripes installed when I picked up the car, but they were out of stock, and I told them not to worry about it. I am going to just bring the car to an after market shop to have the stripes installed.
The stripes I am refering to are the two stripes that run perpendicular along the center of the hood. They are not the bonnet stripes that you see on many of the MINIs. MINI offers these stripes as an aftermarket accessory,
I was wondering in anybody who has the stock sport stripes would be willing to measure them for me so that I can give these dimensions to the shop. The two dimensions I need are:
1) The width of the stripe (just one!)
2) The width of the spacing between the two stripes.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Your meant parallel right? Not trying to be a smarty-pants but not sure if you mis-typed.

I actually had to go to the dealer today to pick up my license plates and saw a car with these stripes. I pulled out my handy dandy ruler and got...
Stripe Width: 5.25 inches
Width of Spacing Between Stripes: 1.25 inches
