License plate frames

Anyone have the official mini ones? Seems kinda silly but I'm not a huge fan of helping my dealership advertise :P Can anyone comment on the quality of their frames? Plastic? Metal?

Pics would be nice too! Preferably the Slim-line (no wordings).

The OEM MINI stainless steel frames with checkers and LET"S MOTOR on them etc are very decent quality, not cheap to buy either.

Here's where I got ours, (one of each):

I also bought my "Let's Motor" OEM plates from Prestige MINI. Super fast service, best price.

They are outstanding quality. Very solid and well built. I like that the come with hinged caps to cover the screws.

Very pleased!

Is the slimline black frame stainless steel as well? If it is I will probably buy one, but if it's just "pot metal" there are cheaper alternatives that also look good.

I felt the same way about advertising for the Lexus lot where I bought my car. Too stingy to spring for a new one, so I just plasti-dipped the plate frame

I have the blackjack license plate frame, I've had it for a couple weeks now. It's black coated stainless steel and seems to be pretty good quality. The screw caps were a pain to get to close properly. I'm happy with it.
