Interior/Exterior HID for 2003 R53
That looks to be a kit with the error code eliminatars attached, (couldn't see for sure if they were removable or not.)
The ddm kit has the eleminators as a seperate piece. (but they still plug right in, no spliceing)
As far as not useing them all you'll do is get a code, (the ballast have less electrical resistance than a regular bulb there for the car interprets this as a bad or burned out bulb so no real problem just a nuscence.)
You can always try without them and see if you get a code or not, if you do order them then, being plug-n-play the only prob. would be the mounting.

Thanks BlwnAway, the one in the pictures are not removable. It's labeled as "Inverter"
. I think I will just get the slim ballast, and not get the canceller.. at least for now..
it kinda defeats the purpose of the "SLIM" ballast....having to have a big bulky thing to connect to it..
especially for me, I have a 2003 R53 so the headlights are attached on to the hood...
