I just received a brighter bulb for the reverse lamp. Does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to replacce the bulb?

NO RESPONSES? I suppose I'll have to take a stab at it or let the dealer do it, but it looks like ther should be a trick to it to avoid taking the bumper cover off.

check out your manual first. it is in there. i think you have to go under the bumper.

What do you mean by a "brighter bulb?" I complained about the weak reverse lamp but my service dept said that's "as good as it gets"...suggested no solution. Where did you get it?

You can obtain a replacement bulb that has an additional 7 watts over the stock bulb without worrying about damaging the wiring or housing. Cost is $7.10 each, available from Daniel Stern Lighting, http://www.danielsternlighting.com
