>>The answer is RejeX, a polymer based "wax" developed for the military. Check out their website, http://www.corrosionx.com/rejex.html.

So do you do this instead of something like Zaino, or on top of Zaino?

TIA

Zaino works great as well. It still gets dirty, but is stays clean much longer. The more slick you can make it, the less likely dirt will stick to it.

When to put RejeX on painted surfaces.. Do you know?

Hi, I'm concerned that since the paint job on my car is sooooo new (just picked her up from the dealership one week ago today!), that I might be better off waiting a while before applying RejeX to the painted surfaces???

Anyone have any comments on this??

I think I'll go ahead and do the windshield, windows and wheels, but hesitate to do the body before checking with those in the know.

Anyone know how long, if at all, after getting your brand new MINI, you should wait to apply RejeX? And those who have used it on windows, are you happy with how it works repelling rain? The main reason I bought RejeX was to use on the boot, which gets dirty sooooooo fast!

Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You may want to post this on the Detailing 101 forum, instead. I think you'll get a better answer there.

Congrats on our new MINI!

1) don't drive it

2) only use reverse

3) windows down, tailgate open

I don't know a thing about the RejeX product. However, I have had reasonable success using Zaino and a California Duster. To keep it looking really good required only a few minutes/day. Other waxes should also work.
