I mean the plastic around them. Yours is nice and light and seems to pick up your stripes. Are they chrome? If not, what color? Mine's gray plastic and my stripes are white. Having white or chrome ones would be cool, though I don't think I want chrome mirror caps.

 

Oh...I see. No, they are not chrome. They are a light gray/almost silver plastic. The roof rails are also that color and go nicely with my white stripes.

This is the exact color scheme and setup I was looking to buy. Although I'd like to get the red mirror caps and red inserts as well along with the stripes. Add in the additional fog lights and a red interior. I must admit I'd like to go down to the dealer now.

 

It has the black interior with the red door panels, I will take some pics of the inside and post them later... really nice! The wife said it was a no brainer on which model to get.

 

Love all the stripes and this thread really helped me make up my mind on which ones I wanted. It helped seeing them instead of trying to visualize it all. Thanks so much!

Are the side stripes aftermarket from a vendor or dealer installed? Hadn't expected to like them as much as I do!

 

The side stripes are available through the dealer. (I bought them from the dealer and had someone else outside the dealer install them...a vinyl lettering shop that installs logos and company names on cars)

As mentioned in the Photos thread, I've always loved the Laguna Seca Blue colour from BMW. I think the graphics company found some vinyl that was a pretty close match!!

As a bonus, they look great with my bike rack trays...

Yep Mojito - did the roof too. Went right across the glass of the sunroof, just like on my previous Clubman. You can sort of see it if you hit the flickr link in the previous post...
