Redline goods door armrest install

I have installed the center armrest cover from Redline and it was easy and it looks great. I have seen the instructions on the website for the door armrests and the process looks like it could be difficult to get right the first time. Has anyone here done this and any tips on getting it right? Thanks

Check out this site for examples. http://www.redlinegoods.com/MINI07doorarm.shtm

I was thinking of doing the door armrests in black, just like the center armrest in my gallery

Door arm rests

Thanks for the lead on redlinegoods.com, that looks like a great site. Did anyone respond to how easy or difficult it is to install the armrests? Is it a cover or a full replacement?

I followed the directions from their website and it was definitely scary but not too bad. I did have to cut away some extra fabric on the pointy end of the armrest so the armrest would go all the way on when I put them back on the door. Also, be sure to dry fit it first to get all the seams lined up where you want them. Once you have it where you want it, trace around the armrest on the back of the leather so you can line it up again after adding the adhesive.

Good luck! Post pics when you're done.

Hopefully, there's nothing wrong with resurrecting this thread.

With that said, would you post some interior photos? This is assuming the redlinegoods leathers are still in the vehicle or you have photos when it was. Our interior is very similar, and as I've said before the door armrests are really the weakest point of the interior. The colorline is the second weakest but I'll take things one at a time.

Thanks

Have just posted new pictures in my Gallery showing the interior with all armrests covered in leather.
