I should have pictures of a set on an IB next week along with the 2-tone silver and black version.

 

Pictures need to show more of the car so you can see how they work as a unit.

Shouldn't this thread be under vendor announcements??

 

Once I have official pricing and product ready to ship I'll tag this to the vendor announcement page. The Vendor page does not give me good feedback like this page does. I thought a pre-announcement might ilicit some feedback before launching the real thing.

Nice! I got a red MINI with the union jack.. But not that mirror covers.

 

Where did you find these, I like them.

 

I found these laying next to one of our print machines and they just happen to fit

sorry - I had to do that. IF you have a spare mirror cap send it to us and we can wrap it with the UJ design for $45.00 or two for $75.00.

I think MINI now sells OEM UJ mirror covers. I think they retail for around $120 the pair. (Saw a new pair at my dealer's accessory case).


I have a CR/W MCS with UJ roof flag but chrome mirror caps. I taught about the UJ mirror caps but I think it is a bit too much having UJ's in the roof, mirror, boot hatch (I have a small metal UJ and checkerboard plaque) and UJ valve stem caps. the chrome mirror caps break out nicely the UJ theme.

I would have to see the UJ mirror covers on a CR/W MINI with UJ roof flag to see if I like it or not.


These covers also work perfectly on an Indy Blue, BRG and Black MINI.

I have seen a UJ roof flag on a DS/W MINI and it looks a bit weird

Very sharp on the red car!!! Not sure it'd look so hot on a LY or the new 2005 orange, though!!

 

UJ mirror covers on a IB/W MCS


I think it would work best on a Red or Blue MINI
I even thought of installing it on one side only.

I made these up for myself, but can do them again if requested. The customer has to send us their cap(s) and we will wrap and return them. $45 for one or $75 for the pair.

Union Jack Mirror Covers

 

I called Nick Alexander BMW the Dealer where I bought my MCS and they have them for a little over $50 each + $12 shipping (no core charge). I'll post a photo when I get them in. Is there a howto on removing and installing these anywhere?

 

I installed the ones from Moss MINI on my DS/B 04 MCS. Really simple to do. AS for MOSS MINI... they send you a cap that sticks right on to the original cap... I did take the caps off for a cleaning and to make sure I stuck it on perfect. There is a post on how to remove them on MINI2 I think... Here is a link

Changing your mirror covers

hope you all enjoy.

 

I had stock mirror covers on for about a year and when they were removed the plastic was brittle and tabs were easily broken (one on each side). I got the MINI UJ covers and those snapped right on to replace the stock covers.
If your MINI is newer the covers might come off more easily but it can be all done by hand with a little patience.

 

I like the UJ covers...I like the original pic, too....sexy lighting!

You got to love that Zaino shine on an Indi Blue car.




Mini-Matt, your mirror caps look every bit as nice as these hand painted ones I got from MINI Mania for $198.
