headlight swap

Not sur if this is the right place, sorry if its not. I would like to know if the headlights of a 07, 08, 09 MCS would fit a '10, '11 MCS. Looking to get a set of xenon/projector headlights for cheap and wana know if they will fit in the current year mini. Thanks

From the research I have done it appears that all the R56 lights are compatible with each other. I was thinking about buying the black 2011 lights for my 2010. They look the same on real oem.

Exactly. I got my eyes on a set of black projector style. The same they offer on the mini site but for $150 cheaper.

An OEM swap is not going to work if going from Halogen to HID. I think a few have tried it on here to take their halogen housing out and put xenon ones in and the dealer cannot get the car programmed to run them.
