CooperS Badge on Dash

So I debadged my boot....woo hoo! Somewhere I saw a picture of someone that mounted the badge to the secret compartment panel on the dash. If you've done this...

Post pictures.

What adhesive did you use?

How did you line it up? Tape and a level for a straight edge???

Looking for ideas.

Thanks everyone.

3M double-side adhesive thin foam tape (for bodywork application) does wonders.
Apply it to the back of the cleaned badge, and use an exacto-knife to trim excess.

Before removing the sticker backing, test fit your location.
Mark with either painters tape to align, or a white-board marker.
Mount in your desired location and then remove tape / markings.

Could you post a picture when you get this completed? I have my Cooper S badge from my boot too.

I got a new set of domed S's from Aesthetic Creations, and put the one back on the back, and was left with 2 which were for the scuttles (Dont have the S ones anymore) so I used one on the dash. Not at all near as chunky as a chrome emblem would be with double sided tape on the back...

Risking a stupid answer

What about craft rubber cement? That would allow for a closer attachment. It's listed as acid free.

Thoughts?

Sounds feasible. Even hot glue would probably suffice lol

I like that too. I test mounted the badge this morning and actually, thought it was too goudy to use there. I think it's because my dash has the grey / black checker. I think I'm going to order one of those "S"'s as well. I like that.

Thank you everyone.
