Interior/Exterior Opinions...please
when im tired of the look of my cars, i usually lower the ride and
change wheels. I also buy factory body kits so
it sticks with me for a while. the factory look is good, but after
seeing 90% or more mini's with non-body kits, it starts to look
kinda old and ordinary after a while...i think that's when people
start painting their wheel arches or start adding decals to their
car. (?) not sure.
By next summer i'll have on a set of KW coilovers on my
mcs to lower it to freshen up the look and ride. The
stock ride is great for the streets, but after a while things tend to
get real 'ordinary' and unless i change something, i get real bord.
Dennis, you might be at a point you might want to change the
look of your car dramatically (body kit, new wheels), or to move
onto a new platform. think it over well before spending any money.

Dennis,
You have one of the most tastefully modded MINI's I've ever seen. I think the black bumpers would be way overkill. Someone suggested side stripes, I know you've seen mine. Sorry about the same old tired photo, (I really need to get out more). I think your car looks perfect just the way it is. I DO know the feeling though, next week I'm removing my dealer installed bonnet stripes and adding a dual center stripe on bonnet and boot. With your proven taste, it will be interesting to see what you come up with. Good luck

Dennis...maybe its time to get that Healey or Cobra!?!?!?!?!?
I haven't switched up cars as much as you have and I'm still lovin' my classy little Cooper, but if I were getting a little bored, I think I'd seriously consider getting a MINI with a body-colored roof and going nuts with graphics. To me a solid-color car leaves much more latitude for this....expecially a lighter color with tints. Almost like a blank canvas. Wouldn't it be great if you could get nice looking panels to switch roof colors or go to a custom-painted roof...or primed mirror caps that you could paint however you wished and just switch them out at your leisure. It'd even be fun to change the look of one's MINI on a seasonal basis! Stripes, polka-dots, flames.....conservative or over-the-top...we should be able to do this stuff and not be stuck with it permanently. Maybe the marketplace will catch up someday!!
PS...I really like the look of those Pioneer MINI Ones in GoMINI magazine!!!!
