Just an FYI and warning about ordering from Moss Motors online. (via WEB ) I found out the hard way that the WEB order mechanism is not connected to their sales and shipping systems. If you place an order via the WEB they have to print it out then re-enter it into another system. This is subject to grave human errors like entering your information into the wrong customer record. This means someone else gets your personal information or order. Fortunately in my case it was someone who knew me and alerted me to the misdirected order. No real harm done to me, but the flaw exists and it could be serious. Order direct by phone if you are going to order until they get this fixed. This is not the only order problem we have had with them, so be careful.

 

Always a good thing to be aware of, and this has happened with other vendors here as well. It just pays to remember that not all vendors are Amazon.com, and some of these folks are still getting up to speed with e-commerce (despite the fact that they might already have an online store).

I'm sure they meant no harm though...and glad it worked out for you.

 

Another thing. Not really Moss Mini's fault. But, my sister got stung for 20 quids worth of import tax for a 50 quid item, not happy!
