I was wondering what the best type of materials are best to make a switch bay were. Like what type of plastic. etc

ABS or ABS/PC

 

I don't exactly know what it is that you are wanting to do, but it sounds like a project that I undertook a few years ago. My final product was, in my opinion, good, and after some tweeking, very much what I had wanted at the start. That said, it was a pain. Attached are pictures of the initial finished product, and the product as of a year later.I tried to write it up best I could, here's the link to that thread. Like I said ABS,most of the dash is made of it...........
