I just installed clear tail lights on my pw/b mcs. It seems to be growing on me. I added the red reflectors in the lower grill to keep it street legal in CA. I actually wanted the red tails with the clear turn signals but I just couldn't find them anywhere for cheap.

The only problem is the daytime visibility of the tail lights. I bought some of those chrome covered bulbs from autolumination.com so you wouldn't see the bulb color through the clear plastic. I'm sure they'd be fine on an overcast day, but in sunny southern california, they're a bit hard to see. I'm considering just buying regular colored bulbs instead.

 

I have an 06p/w and can't get the clears but after seeing them I'm not upset. IMO doesn't look too great with the p/w color. I think the all black/smoke ones would look more OE. Maybe it would grow on me too. I consider doing something with the tl but the 06 ones are pretty cool looking. maybe blackout the chrome line. take a pic with the lights on? maybe it will be more pleasing to the eye? good luck!
