Would you recommend this as a good mod?

Not that one. For 1/2 or in my case, for a 1/3 of the price, you could get an OEM GP2 diffuser that'll connect perfect to the OEM existing underbody panels and have the downforce you're looking for.

Ah that's right I didn't consider that was an additional expense. Sorry. Not many options out there for the stock bumper. So I suppose this would be your best bet. If you do get it though I hope you are utilizing it for its downforce capabilities and not just for show because I would hate for you to chop up some plastic bits or drill any holes and you regretting the choice.

I'll admit that there is a little bit of "it looks pretty sweet", but it is mostly for the downforce. My rear tires have been wearing a little choppy, and I am thinking that if the rear end was pushed down some more, that would cure it. I'm thinking the diffuser and the GP style spoiler should about do it

If you are talking about a cupping that is occurring on the outside edges of the tire, I typically associate that with poor shocks.
