Input on sparkling silver mini please

Hi all, we just got our R56 sparkling silver cooper s, and it seems that there are infinite number of things that we can do to it (you know, bonnet stripes, mirror caps, wheels, etc etc). What would you start with? Need your input please.

Nice choice of color I just bought a cooper in the same color and am looking at upgrades also... I like the black union jack mirror covers a lot. I like the side scuttles also but they are really pricy. Black stripes would look nice also What were your ideas?

I also have a sparking silver car, and I LOVE the look of it with the black roof (I have seen some white roof ones and it just clashes). You HAVE to do the hood stripes to match the roof color. Mirror caps would look better with the standard chrome Cooper grill.

If you have the clear turn signal lens my recommendation is to put mirrored bulbs in (or dust them with chrome paint).

Wife's car is the 2010 sparkling silver/black roof cooper S comes with black wheels (belong to sport package) and 35% tint. That is perfect for now I think. But, we may get the black union jack mirror covers later.

I love the sport stripes (the ones that go the whole length of the car down the middle. I have the black bonnet stripes that come with the sport package and really like those too.

Here's what I have done to my SS R56:
New wheels - Team Dynamic 1.2 Black w/polished lip
Scoop - painted black
Stripes - extended to the boot (not roof)
Parking/city lights - LEDs installed (I don't like yellowish lights.)

To each his own. Modify yours with whatever looks good to you.

BEWARE!!! ONCE STARTED, MODDING IS HARD TO STOP!!!

I thought the all black insides were too much, so just put in a set of old school coca mats. (I have the piano black trim) Just livens it up a touch and is a good match with the outside. Tinted the sunroof 10%, sides 35. I am more on go-fast than bling. I think the grills look cheap, but the replacements I have seen look worse to me.

Thanks for all suggestions. We're thinking of getting black stripes and the two lights to start with. We might get short antenna too. Have you got any pictures on black union jact mirror caps on the sparkling silver mini?

Thanks for all suggestions. We're thinking of getting black stripes
My suggestion is to have your stripes professionally painted at a reputable body shop. It will look much nicer than the vinyl and be more durable and last longer (just my opinion).

as far as mods, ...the sky is the limit.

I've chosen to black out all my chrome, put some high performance mods under the hood, install guages, custom wheels and carbon fiber trim pieces. -The theme being gloss black w/ dark silver.

I would have to agree with this suggestion if you can afford it. My OEM stripes look good now, but after 3 years they are beginning to show some wear in spots. The other option is to remove and replace the vinyl stripes when you want to freshen or change your look.

Also, I had a clear bra installed and it has paid for itself many times over. I have many dings in the bra, but nothing has reached the paint. (NOTE: put the bra on first then the vinyl stripes.)

Nice looking car! Love the lighting effect on the color.

I don't think it NEEDS anything......
