The only prep work really needed was a good washing... waxing is a bad idea as the plastidip has stickage issues.
a few coats is good. don't he afraid to give it the hose down. too light of a spray will take a long time and make it rough. too much and you'll get drips and sponge like material. plastidip also sticks to painters tape. you'll need to peel it off while it is still wet or you'll make the edges look like trash when you stretch them with the tape.
obvoiusly, this takes practice. best part is though, you can peel it off when you screw up. you may also get questioned as to why your spray painting your car. .

Though it seems i am a skilled painter with plasti-dip, i think im going to go vinyl from sticker city... its not terribly expensive, and you don't get over spray from vinyl, lol. Aside from that, it acts like a protectant too...

so how difficult is it to remove the plasti-dip? cause i am thinking of doing stripes with them aswell, (hell of alot cheaper than vinyl) at least to see if i like the look. If i dont, i dont want to be stuck with them so just wondering,
