Painting Engine Parts
So like an idiot I sprayed my new wheel cleaner on the motor and it ruined a lot of the black plastics, turning them white. Generally I use wheel cleaners on the motor but this one was new and very aggressive and I did not even think to decide whether or not it would mess stuff up.
Now that it's all ruined I figure I'll take off the plastics and paint the motor parts pink
I want to do pink lighting and stuff too...who has a lowered black, white, and pink MINI Cooper honestly?
My question is...are those black plastics even removable? Specifically the one over the head and intake manifold?

Everything is removable. The question is how difficult. If you are asking the question, then may I assume you consider yourself game for DIY, but not necessary a mechanic?
Painting high temperature and oil soaked plastic may not be easy. There are special adhesion promoters available from auto body jobber suppliers that should do the job. You may need to know what kind of plastic it is. You may also want to consider the finish texture. The plastic may not look as good in paint as it does raw. If you have ever used any silicone cleaner or treatment, like ArmorAll, forget it. Paint will fisheye or fail. Might try junk yard parts to experiment with.
