Hi All-
I just picked up some piano black dash pieces and want to accent my dash with some chrome rings. My question is has anyone used any of those stick on chrome trime rings and do they look good. I have seen the mini ones and they look good as they are direct replacements for the rings not stick ons. But you get more bang for the buck with the 3M style ones. So let me know your opinions folks.

 

I bought the set for $159 from MINImania and they look good if you take your time and apply them properly. I wanted the accents of the chrome package without a crazy cost.

I bought the set when I first got my MINI. I have not had the opportunity to install yet because of my schedule at work. I had seen them on someone else's MINI and they did actually look nice, so I bought a set. Now if only I have the time.

 

If your willing to spend $170 on stickers, I would just spend $250 and get the real deal OEM retrofit. Thats what I did. Ordered through Morristown MINI 2 years ago, I believe it came to $240+shipping. Also I bought the chrome line e-brake handle to match. The install is not too difficult (set aside half a day at least to do it).
