Rockett's shaved hotness

After about 3 bumpers, and sporting them in spray paint, I wanted to do a little project since it's now summer time.

I cut my old broken aero bumper to fit in the areo grill area.

after some sanding and priming

and took it to a painter, since I was getting some scratches removed and some panels repainted.

some crappy cell phone pics

Looks great. I would like to see someone extend the lower grille up and match it to the grille on the hood though.
One question, what brand is your C/F hood? It looks like it fits better than any one I have seen.

Looks Great!I take it that you just filled in the grill area with something and then painted over it?

Front end looks great! Do I spy zip ties holding the aero grille on?

So the cops ever stopped you for the folded plate? Where is the registration sticker to go?

In California it goes on the rear plate. The front one is really just for the cameras.

oh yeah haha, I bent the crap out of those washer/nut pieces that hold the slatted grill on, and that's some extra insurance that the grill doesn't fly off, because I could only save about 3 of those washer/nut pieces

Plasticknives that is exactly what I want, well pretty close. The only thing stoping me from making it is the aluminum bumper assembaly, some major trimming or total removal would be neccisary.

IMHO MINI's look best with the original design of the front of the car being one massive grille.

hmmm well if I ever trash another bumper (knock on wood) I'll definitely try to go that route of making a huge lower grille
