I think Moss Mini has them Click here. Or you could fabricate them yourself.

Thanks for you help shaskan. I will check out the moss mini but if I wanted to
make the brackets myself. Do you have a sample pic I can see.

Fabricating the brackets could prove to be a challenge if you're trying to copy the factory brackets out of heavier metal. I found it easier to add a couple pieces of reinforcing metal to the originals.

I went to a dealer and inquired about the brackets. They do not sell seperately. They then tried to sell me heavy duty hod pistons becuase of the additional weight. They are not needed. I added amber lights. I went for the real retro look. I fabricated the brackets myself using using 14 gauge steel. Primed and painted Chrome. Bent them using a vice and angle iron for proper bend and shape. They came out great and I was even given complements from one of the dealers. As you know the BMW MINI kits are $400 for the parts and $200 for labor. I installed the switch right under the steering wheel.

Here is a photo...good luck

ACINI,

Check out Mini-madness. They will sell you brackets for around $75.00 a pair. They claim to be more solid than the OEM brackets.

Hers a link.

And if you want stock brackets, Classic MINI (sponsor) has them for about $37.00 plus shipping.

Don't know who your dealer is, but this little fib will let you know how you're probably going to be treated whenever you go there.
