Thanks guys. I think my suspicions have been confirmed. This will be the last part I order from m7. I don't do business with anyone who's selling stuff they don't have!

I ordered a turbo heat shield from them. I went on a 2 week tour in my MINI and when I got home, found out that it didn't arrive as expected. I sent them an email and waited, and waited, and waited. Sent them another email and their response was that their computer order system somehow lost the order. Yet, my credit card was charged when I ordered. Took another 5 days and finally got it. To make up for their mistake they sent me a free stubby antenna and some M7 stickers. The stickers went in the trash and the antenna is sitting on a self in my garage. Won't be ordering from them again. Their loss.

Their splitter is something I wouldn't mind waiting a while for. I think it's going to be one of my next mods, I'm just worried about yanking it off on someone's driveway.
Throwing away $300+ isn't really something I like doing.
Put the splitter on myself. Just search NAM for how to remove the front bumper. Took a few hours the first time to put on, but after I did the first one, only about an hour to take the bumper off and back on (when I put a larger intercooler on). You may notice I didn't want to drill a hole in my front bumper, so I used the grill as a mounting point. Just reinforced the back with a couple fender washers and no problems so far.
Finally got my splitter and have some questions about your mounting technique. How big are the fender washers you used for support on the backside of the grill? Also, the mounting instructions are just a little vague. I assume that once I drill the splitter for the 8 mounting bolts, I use the splitter as a template to mark where to drill the bumper mounting holes. Right? BTW, I got 2 different size washers for those bolts! UFF DA!
I bought my M7 splitter used from the "Market" on this website. So I didn't have any instructions other than what I downloaded from the M7 website. I just removed the bumper skin and set the splitter on the bumper. Then marked the holes to line up with the stock bumper and drilled away. All the washers in my kit were all the same.
Right in the middle of the splitter install when I realized that once it's bolted in place the 2 Torx bolts and 3 pop-its cannot be re-installed to secure the bottom of the bumper cover to the car! Am hoping the added stiffness of the splitter will compensate for this. Hope I'm right as I'm about to start drilling holes. The splitter only seems to fit the bumper cover one way. BTW, I ain't calling the maker for "advice"!
Took all day, but I finally got the splitter on. No "spare" parts laying around and only moderate blood loss, lol. Still have to set the angle on the splitter and put the plate back on, but that's for tomorrow. Thanks for your help on this. Without it I'd have been lost. Here's a couple pics.
