Anyone try the adhesive door trim products?

I've been contemplating buying a door trim product like this- http://www.carid.com/product.php?pro...t=30095&page=1 Does anyone have any experience with products like these? The painted areas on my inner door trim get scratched very easy. I'm thinking of masking off the door and repainted or trying this. Any comments or thoughts appreciated.

Well, I just ordered the kit for my wife's Tahoe. I will let you know what I think of it once I get it.

I had the brushed alum ones in my 99 Eclipse, Looked good and lasted long time. You could also go the route of wrapping them with vinyl. The 3m with comply adhesive will stick great but also remove very easily with out leaving any gummy tape or glue residue like on these kits your looking at.
