Sparco R100 seats??

Has anyone ever come across these seats in person? I originally wanted the JCW recaros but they're stupid money. Just wanted to know if these were well made and comfortable for medium to long commutes.

The R100 is very spartan. Not something one would want to use for daily driving. And $2600 for a pair of seats is cheap?

very cheap when you consider that the recaro cs with leather but without airbags list for 1899. 1300 each with leather, airbags , mounting hardware and shipping is cheap.

Over here in the UK I can get a pair of R100s for £350. The Recaros are £1500 without airbag and the JCW version is around £2300.

have you had the chance to try these seats out? If so, how would you compare them to the R53 JCW sparco seats for example?

I've not had the chance to sit in the JCW recaros. Can anyone describe them?

IMO those R100 seats would look horrid with the lines inside the R56, but thats just me.

The JCW Recaro is simply...heaven . I daily mine, put maybe 3-4K on it so far since January and have no complaints. Seat heaters work perfect, safety in the airbags is great. Just dont expect to be able to reach something in the back seat while in traffic...it just doesnt work well haha.

If you have a Recaro dealer around you go sit in a Recaro Sportster seat, its essentially the same minus the bells and whistles

Just come off the phone to a local Recaro dealer that I didn't know anything about. He can offer 2 Recaro Sportster CS seats in Nardo black, without the airbags (but fitted with a resistor to prevent the airbag light) and the necessary MINI subframes for £1480. Now I didn't request Nardo black as this is the fabric version and I didn't know the name of the simulated leather that I wanted, however I have searched further and found that Ambla Leather is the same price. So... for all you across the pond... that would equate to approx 2300 USD (before shipment... thats if he is prepared to offer shipping!) Hope that helps if anyone is interested.
