Mood lighting

Yup, in an attempt to copy the 2nd gen mood lighting I'm trying to find a good signle LED that will project a good light spread in the interior door handle. Anyone know of a good source. I got one from autozone but it was to directional, more like a spot LED. Trying to find one with a good 180 degree spread.

You can also get the illuminated door handles of the R50-R53 facelift!

I've done this on another car, you have the parts you need. Go to the hardware store and get some 120 grit sand paper, sand the top of each LED flat and ruff the sides up too. Re install them and you shuld be good to go

Cool, that will get rid of the directional light?

Hey Adam if you can do basic wiring you can make your own for way cheaper than a dealer would charge to install a few factory LED's
They will work on any vehicle with a 12 volt charging system.

Yeah, the sand paper works very well, that's what I did on my exterior handles! Since you're going to have the door panels off you should just go ahead and do what I did!

(Mine is the Dark Silver Mini with blue lighting)

Also did a little rig on my clock:

Just wired it straight to the footwell lights on each door
