Caliper Paint Drying Time

I bought the G2 Caliper Paint kit and I wanted to perform this at the local Mini Mod day we are having. The kit says it needs 24 hours drying time before the car may be driven. Is this really the case? I have to drive about 45 minutes away to meet up with the club where all the mods are taking place so I don't want to perform this mod if it is not going to dry in time for me to come home (I will have about 3 or 4 hours of time to let dry before I drive home).

id say youll be fine w 3-4 hours, though that is assuming its like the Duplicolor kit... I could touch it fine in under an hour... I probably drove it shortly after lol

If the kit says to let dry 24 hours before driving, then that's what you should do. Even if a couple people on NAM say..., go ahead and drive it after a few hours you'll be GTG, are you really going to follow them over what your kit says? Save yourself the headache of having to re-do the job, and do it right the first time by following the directions that were provided with the kit.

I just did my buddys calipers and we drove on em right away, looks like the heat baked on the paint and caused no problems, but thats all speculation I havent had the wheels off since
