Front-Foglight install

I'm new to the MINI world & already want to install front foglights. What equipment is needed & how complicated?

you want to put in a set of the factory lights? That's a bit complicated.

Want to just hang a set of generic fogs on the front .... much easier ...

which?

There's always an easier way. Im sure if you wanted OEM style, but without all the OEM instructions, you could just splice OEM fogs to the parking lights. I've done that with other cars in the past.

Yep - you could do this if you wanted fogs to be on any time parking lights were. You'd need to use one or two relays so that the fogs drew their own power instead of just branching off the parking light circuit - because the MINI can be very particular about how much load is on the existing circuits... and fried Body Control Modules suck.

Could you lay out a diagram as to how you'd wire it? Where would the relay go, right to the battery?
