iPod in glove box without dealer installed package?

In the 2009 MCS, is there any easy way to route the usb/aux cable for the iPod to the glovebox or "secret compartment" without having the dealer-installed option?

It looks like the GoMiniGo GloveBoxTidy has a space for an iPod...

Pop on over to the Audio and NAV section there will be information on this there. Many people have done this in many different ways.

Can't find...

Been searching for hours, can't find info on this. I have the factory installed ipod/usb with access in the dash cubby behind the shifter. I want to relocate the sockets to the secret compartment or glove box. I'm sure someone has done this already. Looking for any clean way to do this, please help. Point me to the thread several people say exist or pass on some info please.

Thanks,
Jeff
