interior matt finish

at the moment the main 3 piece dash has a laqeur coat and so do part of the doors..however..the rings around the gear stick and cup holders, tweeter covers, door speaker rings, and the downtubes are all matt finish

out of curiosity...would you be able to take the matt peices off..spray them with a laqeur and they would have the same finish as the dash?

or would i have to put a colour paint down aswell..or even a primer..

many thanks in advance

Yes, you could. You'd need to prep the pieces to allow the paint to adhere. Then aquire the color that MINI uses for those pieces. No laquer is required, just a good clear coat. It may be possible to scuff them up so all you have to do is lay down the clear without repainting them.
