Anyone run without a lower grille?

The lowest and largest grille, where the a/c condenser and radiator are, or where the Alta bar would go- I'm considering it because mine never clips in properly anyway, but I'm worried about it looking dumb, and also about crap getting stuck in my heat exchangers. Does anyone run without one, and do you have any issues?

Gonna be an expensive fix if any of those parts are damaged from road debris....Any idea why it doesn't clip in correctly ?

My original S lower grill would pop out on occasion at the bottom. I fabricated a hangar bending it with a "V" at the bottom. I would fish it though the opening and pull it back towards me grabbing one of the grids in the base of the V wire I shaped and give it a good tug to resecure the tabs..... Easier than removing the bumper that's for sure.
