I've searched all over the site and found some decent posts on antennas, but nobody seems to address a problem I'm having (maybe my ears are sensative). When I drive over about 60mph my antenna whistles. It's very annoying. Does anyone else have this problem? Have you been able to buy an aftermarket antenna that elimnates this noise? I've purchased one of the stubby antenna's suggested in another thread, but I still have the noise. When I go antenna-less I don't have the noise (or decent reception).

Any others out there with similar issues? Thanks for any help.

 

I'm using the stubby from Mini Mania - no wind noise but weaker reception in fringe areas than stock.
