I got some of that plastic (with the texture) from TAP Plastics here in NorCal. Not sure if they exist anywhere else in the country, but a reputable plastic supplier should be able to get it.

MaxMini, what did you use for your satellite radio mount? I just went through rearranging mine to just behind the ignition key, but I had originally had it where yours is. I was using the cup holder post (the radio was supported with a piece of threaded bolt bar in the top hole and a fabricated piece of sheet metal for the mount), but I got tired of it swinging around and getting bumped by people's knees.

Ah. Six for the rest of us, oh well. Good work tho! Def "stock" looking! Good idea. Came out nice. I wanted to do just that with my switches, but since I couldn't find any plastic like that, I went another route and used a project box.

Seems like, in a world of plastics today, it'd be easier to obtain just sheets of the stuff for personal projects
