i just found it thanks to that post:
i LOVE that it matches the flat plastic here.
i have a regular r53 front, is there a similar lip option for that?

Nope
Previous MINI Challenge cars didn't have ANY lip on the front.
And I don't believe they came out with that particular one until 2008
