I just received the latest installation instructions from my Mini dealer today and found two differences on page 11. It differs from the instructions on the bridger site which seems to be an earlier version. The earlier versions calls out to connect to PIN 7 and PIN 3. Here is the paragraph from the version I received today.

Connect branch A7, GE/BR cable, to the Black 18-pin plug X1879 in the switch centre III (1) in PIN 17. Connect Branch A8,GE/SW cable, to the black 18-pin plug X1879 in the switch centre III (1) in PIN 13. Connect plug X1879 to the enclosed switch centre III (1).

I haven't installed my kit yet, but this is a notable difference.
