Every other bump I go over and my glove box falls open. I did some poking around the latch and hook area but I didn't see anyway to make any sort of adjustment that might fix my problem.

Anybody heard of this problem, or have an idea of how to fix it.

Thanks!

I had the same problem–the slightest bump would set it off. Took it the dealer–they fixed it no problem, no charge.

Now I go over railroad tracks and it stays closed no matter what.

My wife's LY/Bl had the same problem. I'm waiting for the 10K service to have the dealer repair it properly. There is an adjustment to the catch (you need a torx) but that didn't fix it. As an interim fix I placed a small 3/4" wood spacer above the catch (between the case of the glovebox and the dash above) to lower it. That did solve the VERY IRRITATING problem, for now.

Yeah - I had the 'glovebox issue' too... So far, it's the ONLY issue I've had

Anyway, I just took it down to my dealer and they pulled out the 'loose' glovebox and installed an new one - no charge - covered by warranty. Only took about 20 minutes....Give your dealer a call. Good luck!!

I'm guessing you've already tried duct tape!?

I'd say the best solution is the dealer, it's their problem, let them fix it. Get your money's worth out of them.

Thanks for all the feedback. While my dealer isn't that far away I was hoping to avoid having to avoid the hassle of taking the time to go there.

I did a bit more poking around in the latch area and I noticed that there are two rubber "bumpers" behind the outside latch handle. If I put some pressure on the handle I could make the latch move into a more tight fitting position but then the bumpers would just push it back out of position. So what I decided to do was cut about a 1/4" off of each of the bumpers, and lo and behold, no more glove box falling open problems.
