The only thing I don't like about my MINI is the seatbelt. I'm not tall so I have to shove the seat as far forwards as possible. The biggest headache is reaching behind for my belt. I looked online and saw a U-shaped hook advertised at a MINI accessories website. It keeps the belt pulled forwards next to the headrest so I don't have to turn all the way around and tilt the seat back a few inches to reach it.

When I placed the order, the web owner was honest with his reply. He cancelled my order and told me that they were such HORRIBLE quality that they broke easily. He added that he was already taking refunds on anyone who had one because so many of them were snapping under pressure. Unfortunately, the owner also said the manufacturer didn't reply when he asked them to improve the design. Having said all that, has anyone else found a sturdy hook to hold the seatbelt next to the headrest? Please post the website address. Thanks.

 

I own the only hooks available and the are delicate.
Passenger side broke within a few months.
Driver side still working, but I try to be very careful with it.
I can't remember where I purchased mine, but the tag line was that the parts were "Stronger" than other hooks.
Came to find out that they were the same item all vendors sold.
MossMini has them for $34.95 and I might just get another set so I have a spare for my side.
