I'm trying to find out if the MFSW buttons for a R56 MINI ever came in Black? If so, what year and model did they come on? Once I have this info, I'll bo to REALOEM and find a part number. I appreciate your help.

 

i got black buttons its a 2007 model... built April 07

 

They stopped with the black buttons around mid-2007.

 

What shift **** are you rockin there?

 

I have the black buttons too, on my late 07. I always thought the newer ones look a bit nicer!

bakerjam - I think that is the standard auto ****.

 

I'll be more than happy to swap my silver buttons from my '09 JCW for your black buttons. I've gone with CF and the black will go so much better than the silver. We could swap just buttons or the whole assembly with wiring. Thanks for the consideration.

There is no MFSW button.

MFSW = Multi Function Steering Wheel.

The button control the following

Left side - Radio and Bluetooth Telephone
Right side - Cruise Control

 

did you ever switch buttons with anyone? i have black buttons and think the silver look better.

 

i knew it! i knew i wasnt just seeing things! i knew i had black buttons... long story short, i had an 2007 for a very short time and now have an 2008.

 

I have a 2008 MCS with a 12/07 build date. Black buttons.

 

Are you looking for a full black button. A little paint can take care of that.
