Where to get a parcel shelf?

I have found it on Minimania but it is $200.00...does anyone know where to get the shelf for a reasonable price or does anyone have one sitting around they would like to part with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I pulled mine out of my R50 before I sold it and swapped it for the one in my R53!!! I knew those suckers were spendy, but the only place I saw them was at MiniMania for $200.00.

It was just too handy to have that shelf down there. Try ebay maybe.

They were about $75 until MINI realized they weren't in the US on a safety concern, since then the sources for it are all going for around $200.

If you can, I think the best bet is be patient and catch a sale, I got mine for 175 a piece from Moss.

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep it in mind and be patient.

I am leary of e-bay on certain things, but will keep an eye on the marketplace here and others closely for it.

Regards

Scott.

I have one that I don't think I want to install anymore. Shipping to Canada isn't going to be the cheapest either.

Bought mine (recently) from newministuff. Cost with shipping (because the British pound has sunk against the dollar) was about $70. Today it is more like $50 with shipping.

I ordered one yesterday from Moss Motors. I spoke to the sales guy in person, he says they do indeed have them in stock. $129 I think.

The Euro Parcel Shelf replaces the flat knee bolster panel under the steering wheel and gives you a *very* useful storage compartment.

Did they give you any estimates as to when it will arrive? I've never ordered anything from overseas, is there any additional customs charges once it gets to the states?

I've ordered lots of stuff from newministuff and other UK sources for my car. Usually takes about a week. No extra customs fees, etc. Really no different than ordering from Kansas.
