Matte Black Side Scuttles, Red Beltline.


Matte Black Headlight Rings, Matte Black upper and lower grill.

I also have a Matte Black gas cap and vinyl wrapped gloss black door handles.

Only chrome left on here are my badges and exhaust tips.

Also, I know it's not black..but I'm sure someone will appreciate this..

 

Left just enough chrome to make some contrast

 

Paint was chipping off so I stripped it, sanded it and painted it.

Just did the "Joey Mod"
Vinyl on everything else. Headlight rings,beltline,door handles,boot handle,
misc other parts..
Only chrome left is the roll bar covers and inside rear taillights. Been thinking of trying the "joey mod" on them as well..

 

Changed out my lower grill recently.

 

That's not well done, man... That's done well. the stripes and lower grill are just right. but what are those "bars" hanging off your lower grill?

 

They are the splitter braces.. I just didn't put them where everbody else does.. So they look alittle different...
Center section of them also covered in vinyl..

 

Onefish, who did your emblems? Lyle? Love em.

 

Does window tinting and black wheels count? Windows tinted yesterday and black wheels about a week ago.

Blackout includes:
Front grills
headlight rings
side gills
mirror caps
beltline
door handles
gas cap
roof

All painted myself with a plasti-dip base then covered with satin black paint. Except for the front grills and beltline. Those are aftermarket products.

EDIT: Oh and the wheels are Konig Feathers in satin black.....

 

The color contrast is amazing. One of the sharpest cars on this site!

They are definitely painted OZ Superturismos. FYI, my Superturismos are the bane of my car-cleaning existence. Huge PIA with all the nooks and crannies.

Done a few updates to the car since. Blacked out some interior parts and had the car colour coded. Also got 205/45 tyres for a better ride.

 

A couple things...

For those of you who have the black headlight rings, what rout did you guys go to do this? did you guys just buy new ones or did you guys paint them? This question would go for the side scuttles as well.

Jayxx83- what Recaro seats do you have? they look pretty sweet!
