I am about to install the armrest on my 2009 Mini. Bought it on Ebay but I think it is the newer OEM model with the flanges on the end of the legs. From other posts and instructions it looks like I loosen the front bolts and remove the rear, then insert the flanges under the rails and put back the bolts with Loctite. Seem correct?

Also, has anyone had the armrest covered in blue leather similar to that from the factory? Seems that it would look better...

 

Just purchased 2009 without an arm rest. Is this euro still the one to get? If so where can it be purchased?
