I have almost all of Alta's stuff except there SSK. I may get Alta's SSK, but it appears those 3 screws that holds the adjustment in place may scratch or dent the shaft. MOMO ***** uses 3 screws as well, and they do leave a small dent where the screws go against the shaft. I dont want to be left out with a cosmetic damage along the shaft of my SSK while I adjust the height position. Based on your opinion I may get an SSK today. Please advise.

 

I havent noticed any dents in the shaft at all, but i accidentally scratched one side of mine up a bit because i didnt loosen one of the screws all the way. Other than that it was a great buy.
