new carpet

put this in today, also sueded that piece of wood i closed my sunroof off with. looks like a factory sunroof door/cover now (until someone goes to try and open it lol)

also switch the gear and ebrake boots to matching suede as well. the consoles will be re-installed tonight or tomorow. next up after the box is covered, is suede seats.

btw, yes, im getting new floor mats that are black and not dark gray. prally will have some custom made.

Looking good, I really like the way that you have covered up the sunroof, fits nicely. It will look really good once you get the box covered as well.

I might suggest that you invest in some anthracite colored sun visor hooks, with all the work that you are putting into the interior, the chipping paint really brings down the look...

other than that though, great job!

i agree. i just left them on for now so it helps hold up the headliner. i knew they were gonna chip as soon as i put the visor in them.

to be honest i dyed the visors but it looked ugly so i ripped the material off. ill either sew some covers up, or maybe put some tv's in a pod instead of visors lol

oh and btw, the area on the headliner where you can see that hole, in front of the clock, thats where my a/c controls are going, wire is already extended to be mounted up there, just gotta figure out how i want to mount them...10" screen will eventually go in the dash so thats why they needed to be moved.

I really like that idea, I can't wait to see what it looks like when you get it up there. I was originally wondering if you had left it open for a radar detector or something!

I'd vote for going with making suede covers for your visors, have them match the roof.

Why would you want to put TV's in the Visors? Where would you possibly be able to sit and watch them? Not worth the money if you ask me.

not in the visors, actual fiberglass pods to house tvs

just for show..i would prally never use them, plus i have 2 7" monitors and a 13" and a 10" (the 10 is for the dash) in my room.

That carpet is nice. The suede shift boot and painted consol come together well.

man, too bad the toggle switch panel doesn't free up enough room for your screen, it would be pretty cool to have all of your toggles up where you plan on putting your A/C controls...

The new carpet looks good. Much better then original gray color. Is this the first time that you have installed carpet in a car?

i had my friend install the carpet, i could have, but he had the spray gun, etc, so i just helped him do it.

i need to get the 2 kick panels covered in black vinyl so i can put those back in as well..they're still the factory gray
