Interior/Exterior Piano Black painted?
Piano Black painted?
Has anyone in here seen anyone talking of repainting the piano black interior pieces. I was just wondering if it could be done or how much it would be to replace them through the dealer or a parts vendor? Just curious..
You can get the part numbers from RealOEM.com

Then get prices from some of the vendors who give better than dealer prices on OEM parts. I think it is around $250 to replace the two dash pieces. Then there are the door pieces. They are attached to the door panels by melting plastic tabs. So, not easy to remove for painting.
Have you considered wrapping them in vinyl? There is at least one NAM vendor who offers vinyl for the dash.

But wouldn't the vinyl go on weird because of the textured material on the dash pieces? If it would go on fine than I would really consider it because I have the standard grey pieces and I really don't like the color. Black would look much better.
It might. Contact vinyl Styles and talk to them. It may require a double wrap to cover it up. Or go to a sign company such as Fast Signs and buy some high qulaity vinyl and try it yourself. The pieces are not overly intricate to wrap and tou may suprise yourself on how well it comes out.
Three clips hold it on.Just tuck your finger under it on each side of the steering wheel and pull. The passenger side has two screws on the underside.
