Interior/Exterior Another Joey Mod, but with Plastidip!
just fine so far. I havent ran them more than 20mins yet. next week i'll be doing a couple hours of night driving, we'll see then for sure.
also, it can withstand 200 degrees. if its that hot in the housing then the adhesive that holds the lens on would begin to fail, as I only had to bake it at 230degrees for 3mins to make it a mess of goo. I figure the most vulnerable part will be the two black rings and areas immediately surrounding the hotter, halogen highbeams.

to remove the lenses i baked @ 230 for 6mins. Do yourself a favor and wear mechanix gloves or something, the metal pieces on the lamp get really hot. AFter i was finished I pressed the lens back on then put in the oven for about 4minutes. that loosened the glue up enough to allow me to secure the lens back in its original spot. I pushed the headlamp up against the floor to help snap the lens in to its tabs.
Plastidip joey mod complete, and going on 3 weeks with no issues, melting, etc.

ill try to get a daylight picture tomorrow.
Well i finally found a drivers side on eBay. The seller wasn't sure if it functioned or not. So i took a chance, won it for about $80, and it works great!!

I cannot wait to see the daylight pictures. The night pictures look great!
I take it that in the second picture you have the bulbs that came with the lights in? I don't know if it is the angle, but from head on, your driver's side light is definately a different color than the passenger side... again, going along with bulbs that are a different age...
