If you have been screwed by Palo Uber MINI check this out

Okay, here is the deal I was screwed by Palo Uber MINI!!!

Here is the short version of the story:

I ordered they're Signature series rims, put them on the car and in less then 3 months the paint was blistering. I called, I E-mailed, after several weeks I heard back ( they where on holiday LOL)

1. I was told it was due to road salt, I live in FL Jackass! No road salt here.
But nice try!

2. I was told it was due to the salt in the air, I live in Orlando. No salt air here.
But nice try!

3. I was told I was road debris, I've owned many rims in my life and never had 3 months of road debris kill them.
But nice try!

So after I refused to accept the BS. I was told to take pictures and send to them, also to take them to a paint shop and have them write up an estimate.
i did this and sent the info to uber. Paint shop states rims where not properly painted. Basically they painted the Black over the gun medal power coat with out any prep work.

Finally they say they will issue me a check for 1/2 the cost of the repairs.
It never comes and they stop returning my calls and E-mails.

Well lets just say I'm no dummy I called and left a message stating I wanted to buy some MINI performance parts.

Wow call was returned the same day!!!!

Any way I was fed some more BS. So now I have my lawyer working on it.

If there is anyone else out there that has unresolved issues please let me know and i will forward the info to my lawyer. He would love to make a big case out of this!!

I am a vendor so I have put off posting this but I just can't any more.

Wow, I know that you have been dealing with this for a long time now...you even sell the rims with out PU's "name" and from the correct manufacturer.
I hope that you can get this settled

Bummer to hear that another person has been treated poorly by this company.

This information may be of help if you end up taking legal action: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...lo+Uber+wheels

I would also try their vender reviews section and see who has left negative reviews. I am sure there will be MANY!

Their review section of shame!

I will try to find this one thread on the subject.......will edit later! Blackie would be a good one to PM!!!!!!

Their "charity" deal

Sweet tuner Lugs!

Awsome stubby antenna!

Ballin Hood scoops!

More Scoop shenanigans!

"THEIR" widebody kit....

im sure I can find more.......but for a start i think this works!

Perhaps

a) your mini is so dam fast that it ripped the paint off of the rims?
b) this is part of the PU design element - they get lighter over time.

Okay, got that out of my system. I feel for you.

1) get the rims off the car.
2) plenty of pics.
3) get two or more quotes on fixing - documenting bad prep.
4) if paid by CC, can you put in a reverse claim?
5) put up a website, might get you other litigants and they may not like the press and be forced to address. Have lawyer review so you don't get sued.
Link all negative threads
6) better business bureau ?

Good luck

I'm surprised they never tried to blame the peeling paint on global warming.

PLEASE, make sure you put Paolo Uber's name on the deposition list.

You will have legal evidence that he does not exist and while that won't solve your rim issue - it would be priceless.
