I am looking into a roof rack for the Mini that will hold kayaks, bikes, skis and a surfboard! Always being a Jeep driver and having a rack preinstalled is making this task harder than I thought.

What racks have you guys used and liked a lot?

I also have the Thule and love it, very useful. you can find pics of mine in my gallery. Be sure you set the front feet about 10 inches back from the leading edge and never use tie downs or rope going front to back, only side to side. I ran down to MOTD this year with 6 tires on top and came home with 4 on top. Pics on Killboy.com

 

 

There's a Mini with a decal of a rack on the bonnet. Can't find the link at the moment, but most have seen it...
